Education would be much more effective if its purpose was to ensure that by the time they leave school every boy and girl should know how much they do not know, and be imbued with a lifelong desire to know it. —William Haley
CURRICULUM OF PRE-PRIMARY WING (NUR-II)
Pre-Primary Wing is a happy, safe and engaging learning space designed to provide an enriching environment to young learners. The curriculum is based on contemporary research and principles of early childhood development. It is developmentally appropriate, integrated, play – led and ensures stimulating experiences across different domains to address the needs of a child. It is integrated and progressive with structured and well defined pedagogy that includes number of indoor and outdoor activities, art and craft, storytelling, theme based concepts, picture talk, free conversations, science experiments, songs and rhymes, movement and organized games.
CURRICULUM OF PRIMARY WING (III TO V)
Every child’s journey from childhood to young adulthood is immensely vital. Thus, it is important for us to recognise their potential during this period with timely assistance and support. At the primary level , we focus on the development of oral as well as written expression, creative writing, critical thinking and mathematical skills. The teaching learning process at this level is interactive and conscious effort is made to integrate subjects, thus helping children to move from the known and explore the unknown.
CURRICULUM OF MIDDLE WING (VI TO VIII)
Our curriculum is interspersed with scholastic and co-scholastic activities to make the children discover themselves and learn through exploration and discovery. The school offers our students the opportunity to grow into confident global citizens, while they pursue their dreams through academic and extracurricular achievements. Ample importance is given to computer education, yoga, sports, music, dance, and art. Interactive sessions are held in life skill classes in order to inculcate moral values and to enhance general awareness of the students.
CURRICULUM OF SENIOR WING (IX TO XII)
This stage focuses on strengthening the knowledge, skills and competencies of the children and works towards greater critical thinking and flexibility in the thought process. It is our constant endeavour to encourage and inspire our students to think for themselves and pursue their interests through independent reading and research. We facilitate our students to learn to be collaborators, innovators, and creative thinkers who will be ready to take on any challenge.
In classes XI and XII, the streams offered are Non-Medical, Medical, Commerce and Humanities, with more than six choices for the fifth subject. This wide array of subject combinations is of immense help to enroll in their colleges and take up careers and professions of their choice.
